Weapon on School Property

Cause: Any person under the age of 19 years old who is adjudicated or convicted of conveying onto, or possessing on, school property a deadly weapon or dangerous ordinance.

Length of Suspension: Twelve (12) to Thirty-six (36) months.

Appeal Procedures:

1. Appeal of conviction is made to the court from which the conviction was imposed.

2. Appeal for modified driving privileges is also made through the court from which the conviction was imposed.

Reinstatement Requirements: In addition to serving the suspension time a Thirty dollar ($30.00) reinstatement fee is required. (Per H.B. 210)
