PURPOSE
To provide you with a news release and information about POSSP Release 5.2.2, which involves both the subcontractor and Dealer Title Application (DTA) elements and completes the statewide rollout.

DETAILS
The Vehicle Titles and Registration Division (VTR) has developed a news release to announce the final phase of POSSP, which allows county-approved subcontractors and auto dealerships using DTA to print Windshield and Universal License Plate Stickers at the time of purchase through the Remote Sticker Printing System.

COUNTY ACTION
Attached is a "shell" news release that you can customize and send to local media if appropriate in your county. If you would like a copy of this release by e-mail, please send a request to aleyva1@dot.state.tx.us.

Subscribers will automatically receive all RTB mailings as they are issued.
