Subject:	Introduction to Registration and Title System (RTS) Version 5.2.2 Point of Sale Sticker Printing (POSSP) at Dealer (e.g., "motor vehicle") Locations

PURPOSE
To provide an overview of POSSP at dealer locations utilizing a Remote Sticker Printing System (RSPS). Currently, there are 31 counties in Texas that have dealer locations taking advantage of RSPS.

DETAILS
TxDOT has successfully piloted and completed RTS Version 5.2.2, as well as, fixes 1, 2, and 3. This last phase allows for point of sale sticker printing at the motor vehicle dealer locations utilizing the Remote Sticker Printing System (RSPS).

Attachments include Version 5.2.2 (dealers) and Version 5.2.1 (subcontractors). The documents provide an overview of the RSPS equipment, user groups, training, implementation and future updates.

The Release Notes will also be available online at www.dot.state.tx.us.

DEPARTMENT ACTION
Training for RTS Version 5.2.2 will be conducted by regional office personnel. Counties will receive the Release Notes for the version release prior to training.
