PURPOSE
To provide you with a news release and information about the State of the Arts specialty license plate featured for the month of April.

DETAILS
During the month of April, we are highlighting the State of the Arts specialty license plate. These plates are available for passenger cars and light trucks for a $30 annual fee, plus $40 if personalized, in addition to regular vehicle registration fees. The funds raised from the sale of this plate are used by the Texas Commission on the Arts to promote and support the arts and culture of Texas.

COUNTY ACTION
Attached is a "shell" news release that you can customize and send to local media. We plan to send a similar release to TxDOT’s district public information offices statewide. If you would like a copy of this release by e-mail, please send a request to dwaldri@dot.state.tx.us.

Subscribers will automatically receive all RTB mailings as they are issued.
