PURPOSE
To provide you with a news release and information about POSSP Release 5.2.1, which involves the subcontractor phase.

DETAILS
The Vehicle Titles and Registration Division (VTR) has developed a news release to announce the next phase of POSSP, which allows county-approved subcontractors to print Windshield and Universal License Plate Stickers at the time of purchase through the Remote Sticker Printing System.

COUNTY ACTION
Attached is a "shell" news release that you can customize and send to local media if appropriate in your county. If you would like a copy of this release by e-mail, please send a request to dwaldri@dot.state.tx.us.

In some cases the Registration and Title Bulletins (RTB) contain attachments. Repeat requests are subject to charges in accordance with Open Record policies. A subscription service is also available for an annual fee of $250. Subscribers will automatically receive all RTB mailings as they are issued.
