PURPOSE
To provide you with a news release and information about the Personalized specialty license plate featured for the month of January.

DETAILS
During the month of January, we are highlighting the Personalized specialty license plate. These plates are available to motorists for a $40 annual fee, in addition to regular vehicle registration fees. The funds raised from the sale of this plate go to the state’s
General Revenue Fund where it is used for various state services and programs. The plate design features a state silhouette at the top and the slogan "The Lone Star State" across the bottom.

COUNTY ACTION
Attached is a "shell" news release that you can customize and send to local media. We plan to send a similar release to TxDOT’s district public information offices statewide. If you would like a copy of this release by e-mail, please send a request to dwaldri@dot.state.tx.us.

Subscribers will automatically receive all RTB mailings as they are issued.
