PURPOSE
To provide you with a news release and information about the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department "Hunt Texas" Specialty License Plate featured for the month of October.

DETAILS
During the month of October, we are highlighting the "Hunt Texas" Specialty License Plates. Funds raised from the sale of this plate benefit big game conservation programs managed by Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.

This license plate can be purchased at any time, regardless of when a vehicle registration expires. The plate is available for passenger cars and light trucks for $30 per year, in addition to regular registration fees. The "Hunt Texas" Specialty License Plate features a white-tailed buck on the left against a white background with the words "Hunt Texas" running across the bottom.
