DETAILS
As discussed at the Tax Assessor-Collectors Association meeting in May, toll roads are a key component of a comprehensive transportation plan to address the growing need to improve transportation in Texas. As the Texas Department of Transportation and local transportation entities prepare to build or explore the possibility of toll roads in parts of the state, it is important for the public to understand the state’s transportation issues. To help you understand more about toll roads, this bulletin includes a fact sheet with some basic information. More detailed information can be found at TxDOT’s web site at www.dot.state.tx.us/ttc/ttc_home.htm.
