Travel Trailer Processing Procedures |
PURPOSE
To provide interim travel trailer processing procedures for
title transactions processed prior to September 8, 2004.
DETAILS
RTB #091-04 did not address travel trailer title transactions
that have been submitted to the county by the dealer utilizing the previous
processing procedures. Travel trailer title transactions that are currently in
the county tax office or those submitted before September 8, 2004, should be
processed using the procedures provided in RTB #091-04. However, in some cases,
the fees being submitted by the dealer may not be calculated on the gross
weight.
COUNTY ACTION
In order to process those transactions it will be necessary
for the county to select "Credit" on the Fees Due (PMT004) screen and enter the
difference between the amount being submitted and the amount due (Amount Due –
Check Amount = Credit Amount).
