Subject:	Texas Music Specialty License Plates Application

PURPOSE
To provide information regarding the new application for Texas Music specialty license plates.

DETAILS
A new application for the Texas Music specialty license plates, Form VTR-911, was created in order to include a consent checkbox for the applicant to complete. This will allow the Governor’s Texas Music Foundation to send information to the applicant. The form is available on the TxDOT website at www.dot.state.tx.us. A copy of the new form is attached for your reference. The new form will be distributed to your offices when available.

COUNTY ACTION
The Texas Music specialty license plates selection is currently on the Form VTR-999. This form should not be used for customers applying for Texas Music specialty license plates.

The attached Form VTR-911 may be photocopied for use for these requests until you receive a supply of the form.

In some cases the Registration and Title Bulletins (RTB) contain attachments. If you require a copy of the original signed RTB and the attachments, please email your request with the RTB number to VTR Info Request/Open Records. Repeat requests are subject to charges in accordance with Open Record policies. A subscription service is also available for an annual fee of $250. Subscribers will automatically receive all RTB mailings as they are issued.
