PURPOSE
To advise you that The University of Texas at Arlington Specialty License Plate has been redesigned and is the latest specialty license plate approved for manufacturing using the Digital License Plate System (DLPS) (see attached).

DETAILS
The University of Texas at Arlington Specialty License Plate has been redesigned to include the following changes:

• the new wording "Mavericks" is in a light blue color;
• the wording "UTA" with a star depicted in the center of the A, followed by the wording "The University of Texas at Arlington", completed in light blue, is shown on the left side of the plate; and
• a small red, white, and blue outline of Texas with a white star depicted in the state is shown in the upper right corner of the redesigned plate;

The original University of Texas at Arlington Specialty License Plate design is still valid.

The specialty license plates may be viewed, and applications downloaded, by going to the Texas Department of Transportation’s Internet site at www.dot.state.tx.us.
