PURPOSE
To announce the newly revised Motor Vehicle Title Manual.

DETAILS
The Vehicle Titles and Registration Division's (VTR) Motor Vehicle Title Manual has been revised and reformatted.

• The manual is divided into chapters for ease of reference and updates.
• Tab dividers are provided to separate the chapters.
• Some legislated changes have been included. Others will be sent to you via chapter updates in early 2004, after Commission rules are finalized.
• Minor edits have been made for clarity.
• The revision date is 8/2003.
• You will receive manual (s) later this month, or early December 2003.

Due to printing errors, there are a few manuals with the following pages either duplicated or missing:

ACTIONS

• Upon receipt, please retain the Appendix and Figures from your current manual and insert into the newly reformatted Motor Vehicle Title Manual.
• Please review your copy to determine if the above referenced "missing" pages need to be replaced. (These are attached – make copies as you need)
• Please remove and destroy any duplicated pages.
• Please destroy the replaced manual copies and revisions.
• The Appendix and Figures will be updated and sent to you as attachments to a Registration and Title Bulletin at a later date.

In some cases the Registration and Title Bulletins (RTB) contain attachments. If you require a copy of the original signed RTB and the attachments, please email your request with the RTB number to VTR Info Request/Open Records. Repeat requests are subject to charges in accordance with Open Record policies. A subscription service is also available for an annual fee of $250. Subscribers will automatically receive all RTB mailings as they are issued.
