Proposed Amendments to Title 43, Texas Administrative Code, §17.28 |
PURPOSE
To provide information regarding proposed adoption of amendments to Title 43,
Texas Administrative Code, §17.28, (43 TAC §17.28) relating to Specialty
License Plates, Symbols, Tabs, and Other Devices.
DETAILS
On October 30, 2003, the Texas Transportation Commission proposed adoption of
amendments to 43 TAC §17.28, concerning Specialty License Plates, Symbols,
Tabs, and Other Devices. The amendments are necessary as a result of enactment
of House Bill 2971 by the 78th Texas Legislature, Regular Session,
2003.
The proposed amendments will be published in the November 14, 2003, issue of the
Texas Register for the purpose of receiving public comments. Written comments
regarding the proposed rule may be submitted to Jerry L. Dike, Director,
Vehicle Titles and Registration Division, 125 East 11th Street,
Austin, Texas, 78701-2483. Additionally, the department has scheduled a public
hearing to be held at 1:30 p.m. on December 9, 2003, in the first floor hearing
room of the Dewitt C. Greer Building, 125 East 11th Street, Austin,
Texas, during which oral and written comments may be submitted. The deadline
for receipt of written comments is 5:00 p.m. on December 15, 2003.
