PURPOSE
This is to inform you of changes to the RTS software application.

DETAILS
RTS Version 5.1.5 contains enhancements to the "Title Additional Info TTL008" and "Sales Tax TTL012" screens. These enhancements are based on HB 1365
Texas Emissions Reduction Plan (TERP) enacted by the 78^th Legislative Session. Also, changes to the Admin Tables have been included. The following is a list of the changes made:

• A screen change was made to collect and display the Texas Emission Reduction Plan (TERP) Fee.
• A screen change was made to collect and display the 1% or 2.5% Sales Tax Emission Fee.
• New plate types and corresponding personalized plates have been added to the Admin Tables.

The Sales Tax Emissions Fee will no longer be collected under the Additional Collections Event as previously identified in Registration and Title Bulletin #095-03 (page 3). Please review the attached "5.1.5 Activity Changes" document for a listing of the corrections made to the RTS application. The following events were updated to reflect these changes:

• Online Internet Renewal
• Online Address Change
• Dealer Title Application
• Batch Process
• Inventory Inquiry

Statewide distribution of RTS Version 5.1.5 will occur on or after October 7, 2003.

Please distribute the attached Release Notes to your respective deputies and discuss as required.
