Stolen Blank Tennessee Certificates of Title |
PURPOSE
To provide notification of stolen blank Tennessee Certificates of Title.
DETAILS
- The State of Tennessee Highway Patrol,
Criminal Investigation Division, Department of Safety, has notified us
that 4,000 blank Certificates of Title have been stolen.
- The stolen Certificates of Title can be identified by the control numbers
18337501 through 18341500.
- The control numbers are printed in red in the lower left-hand corner of the
stolen title documents.
COUNTY ACTION
- If any of these stolen Certificates of
Title surface, please notify your local law enforcement agency or,
- Contact Special Agent in Charge, Jimmy Hester, Tennessee Highway Patrol,
Criminal Investigation Division, Department of Safety, at 615/251-5190.

In some cases the Registration and Title Bulletins (RTB) contain
attachments. If you require a copy of the original signed RTB and the
attachments, please email your request with the RTB number to
VTR Info Request/Open Records.
Repeat requests are subject to charges in accordance with Open Record policies.
A subscription service is also available for an annual fee of $250. Subscribers
will automatically receive all RTB mailings as they are issued.
