This information is provided to apprise the general public of issues affecting the state’s vehicle titling and registration process.

Subject:	Revised Antique and Former Military Vehicle Applications

PURPOSE
To inform you of revisions made to Form VTR-54 Application for Antique License Plates and Form VTR-135-M Application for Former Military License Plates.

DETAILS
The application forms for Antique and Former Military license plates have been revised to advise customers to submit the completed application to their local county tax assessor-collector instead of the Special Plates Branch beginning January 2, 2003.

Distribution of the new forms will occur mid-December.

Upon receipt, please destroy all prior versions and begin utilizing the new version immediately.

Attached is a sample of the applications that may be photocopied if you do not receive your new forms by January 2, 2003.

In some cases the Registration and Title Bulletins (RTB) contain attachments. If you require a copy of the original signed RTB and the attachments, please email your request with the RTB number to VTR Info Request/Open Records.
