As traffic gets worse, parking gets harder and more expensive to find, and gas prices increase, owning a scooter can be very economical. GMI is a direct importer of scooters manufactured in China and Taiwan. All of our models have US Department of Transportation approval. All of our scooters over 50cc also have EPA certification on their motors. Most of our scooters have 4 cycle engines which burn cleaner and are better for the environment. Many of our competitors only offer 4 cycle as an extra charge item. There are many imported scooters on today's market that do not meet our standards of safety and quality. We work closely with our overseas factories to ensure our bikes are right for the US market. The Internet is full of scooters that look the same and are priced at or below our prices. Beware, many of these scooters are of poor quality you get what you pay for . Check the size! Many of these scooters on the market are just too small for the average height rider.
